I hope you have been enjoying the summer to the fullest and that you have taken advantage of the warm weather we have had to make the most of your yoga practice.
In the next month I will be taking some time off to go on holidays with my lovely family and friends, but as always, I have made sure that you are left in capable hands of some of the London's great yoga teachers.
Shoulder joints are meant to be very flexible to enable us to have a good mobility of the arms. However, due to our sedentary lifestyles, combined with spending hours behind the keyboard, the shoulder flexibility is very likely to decrease as we get older.
In the movie below you will find 4 very simple, yet effective exercises which can help you improve the flexibility of your shoulders. Try them out for a month, doing them 2-3 times a day and see if they have made a difference. They will also help with the posture making the upper back less 'hunched'.Read More »
I will be taking lots of family holidays this summer to recharge my energy supplies and spend quality time with my loved ones. Meanwhile, Maja, Joe, Per and Naomi will take over in teaching all the classes.
