Yoga for Lower Back
As there are many different types of lower back pain, some affecting the nerves (sciatica), some not, there are also many different approaches and exercises designed to alleviate it. When working with a client who has a back pain, in the first few sessions we go through a series of exercises to determine which ones work best at that particular time. A detailed email is sent to the client with the exercise plan.
Spinal Regeneration
In yoga we believe that as long as your spine is young, you are young. As we age, the spine becomes compressed and not only a person becomes shorter, but all the internal organs are compromised by the impingement of the nerves leading from the spine to the organs.
For the first time in London, you are able to experience the spinal regeneration and anti-aging series due to the ingenious design of the yoga wall system and Petra's studies with one of the top yoga teachers in the world, Aadil Palkhivala . Design of the series is based on a wall rope traction originally developed by B.K.S. Iyengar.

Even though there are plenty of yoga studios in London with wall ropes, the system we have at Petra Yoga Studio in Camden, London is far superior because of its adjustability and versatility that can facilitate even the most complex yoga postures and stretches.
Spine Regeneration Series is beneficial for people with healthy backs, as well as for the people with certain types of back pain. If you have an existing back problem, please specify it before booking a session. This series is not suitable for people with high blood pressure, heart problems, eye problems and pregnant women.
