Wall Rope Yoga
Wall Rope Yoga, as developed by B.K.S. Iyengar, is an extension of Iyengar Yoga that utilises ropes attached to a wall to assist and deepen yoga postures. Iyengar introduced this method to help practitioners achieve proper alignment, create spinal traction, and experience greater opening in the body while reducing unnecessary strain.

Petra has been incorporating the yoga wall method into her teaching since 2008. She studied under her teacher, Aadil Palkhivala, and integrates this approach into her therapeutic work (especially in alleviating lower back pain and sciatica), as well as her general and advanced yoga classes. Try it out in a private session or join a Dynamic Hatha group class.
